WINTER has finally spread its wings over the region. The city on Sunday recorded a temperature of 11.8 degree Celsius which is less than 4 degrees than the normal temperature. In terms of Fahrenheit, the minimum temperature stood at 53.2 degrees.
The mean temperature for the month of November is 14.9 degrees. The maximum temperature for the day too stood below normal at 27.6 degrees Celsius, a departure from normal by two degrees. The maximum humidity was recorded at 86 per cent while it was 35 per cent on the lower side. The regional meteorological centre has predicted the minimum temperature to remain around 12 degree Celsius for few more days to come while the maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 29 degree Celsius. That means, the days will remain hotter while the chill will be felt during night.
